Our client is a pioneering SaaS business that has developed a powerful software platform for enterprise customers across a number of verticals including retail, ecommerce, logistics and supply chain.
Benefiting from a strong team, experienced leadership and committed investors, the company has established itself as a trusted data partner to its international client base and is now ideally poised to capitalise on the substantial (and steadily increasing) global market opportunities. As such, this year will see a real step-change as the business builds on its momentum and executes the next phase of the growth plan. Crucial to this will be the appointment of a world-class Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) who will lead, drive and direct all business development activity across the organisation.
This is a key leadership role with responsibility for revenues as well as managing and motivating a global team. It, therefore, demands a proven business development leader with a track record of closing SaaS-based deals and experience of selling into ecommerce, logistics and/or supply chain markets.
The successful candidate will have a truly international background – ideally having lived and worked in different countries – and will have managed culturally diverse teams across disparate geographies. The CRO will be a natural and gifted sales leader, and will be proven in increasing revenues within an entrepreneurial, high-growth environment.
