Our client is a pioneer in the development of electric motors and controllers, with large OEMs and Tier 1s adopting their technology in order to meet the changing demands of the automotive and aerospace sectors.
Having secured a number of long term development and supply agreements in the premium automotive market, the company is scaling fast to meet customer demand and, as such, is looking for a Managing Director (MD) to lead their advanced manufacturing capability.
With P&L responsibility, the MD will lead the unit responsible for low volume production for high value customers, as well as batch and prototype manufacture, to deliver profitable growth. This will include driving sales, as well as continuous improvement in delivery, quality and productivity, to build a sustainable and competitive platform for the future.
The successful candidate will likely come from an automotive manufacturing background and have proven P&L experience, with a demonstrable track record of leading a successful business/unit or division to deliver profitable growth, in a similar precision engineering environment.
