Award-winning materials technology company, Floreon, has appointed Jean-Claude Pierre as Non-Executive Director.
The business, which has developed a range of high-performance bioplastics made from plants, is a leading innovator and sustainability pioneer.
Having closed a Series A funding round with Northern Gritstone towards the end of 2023, Floreon has its sights firmly set on fully commercialising its technology and has been strengthening its leadership in pursuit of this objective.
The appointment of Jean-Claude Pierre as NXD has added considerable industry and commercial knowledge to the Floreon board.
With an extensive track record in sustainability and the global specialty chemicals industry, Jean-Claude has held several leadership, consulting, and investment roles.
A chemical engineer by background, he has worked for the likes of BASF and Scott Bader in key strategic positions and, more recently, has focused on helping startups bring novel technologies to market. This includes carbon capture company, Nuada, where Jean-Claude is currently Chair.
We were delighted to support Floreon with this appointment and would like to extend our congratulations to all parties.
